Confirming that the transition from youth to adulthood is challenging for almost every young person, particularly true for young people with disability, five guideposts for success transition is pointed out not only for youth with disability. Also the needed knowledge, skills, and abilities for practitioners servicing for youth with disability to transit to workforce is listed. However there is no single comprehensive curricular for practitioners. Community colleges are expected to promote job attainment for students with disability, some colleges are connecting with workforce, working directly with employers to develop programs, forming partnerships with other organization such as vocational rehabilitation agencies, co-locating and aligning disability student services with other key services in the college, or ensuring students learn the “soft skills\" demanded in the workplace today.
