It is well known that the botanical art should be illustrated in fine detail basically. When Age of Discovery had been expanding in the world the botanical art became popular in Europe, and various novel plant kingdoms were introduced into European countries during 17th～18th century. At the same time many artists were sent to various countries and illustrated the novel plants in fine detail. Therefore, the botanical arts could be presented as an illustrated book of plants. Since many elaborate Grass Flowers have been collected in The Harved Museum of Natural History, the author tries to compare together both botanical arts.
