This paper discusses the mission of evolving roadside stations and the role that “roadside station museums” should play as regional hubs for interaction using “roadside station museums” in Nagasaki and Iwate Prefectures as examples. This proposal for “roadside station museums” is expected to provide a new way for visitors to use roadside stations when they visit.
